Who we’re looking for?

  • You care deeply about what the user experiences; how things look, how things feel, and how things behave.
  • You have a heavy focus on UI design, animation, and a clear definition of what craft means and implies.
  • You have impeccable taste, and knows what good is.
  • You can deliver on and improve on designs in collaboration with the Product Design team, always wanting to raise the bar. Gets inspired by challenges, and sees potential for creativity in problems.
  • You are experienced (senior and up) in web development, have a deep understanding of general engineering principles (specifically React – with a deep understanding of state management).
  • You have the ability to work with stakeholders in business and engineering, and liaison with peers in design.
  • You have previously worked in a similar role, or have had a focus on UI implementation at a design-heavy business. You probably have experience from a design agency, FAANG, and/or startups.
  • You are likely to have a background in design, or are a very design interested individual.

The role

This is a front-end developer that obsesses about user experience, the touch and feel of the UI. Someone who collaborates closely with both product designers and engineers. Seniority, understanding what good looks like, and ability to define and move work forward autonomously in collaboration with others is very important.

Technologies in use are react, styled-components, framer motion, a lot of custom CSS implementation. Sana leverage libraries like Radix UI to implement UI components. You need to know the web from the ground up – from HTTP to CSS.
